Saturday Fun in La Pintada

The Hike to La Pintada may be a long one but it is definitely worth it.  Every other Saturday I make the trek to go hang out with my friends from Mayatan Bilingual school who live there.  What we do is different every time I go, depends on how we feel.  Just this past weekend we went swimming in the river; piling up rocks all over; trying to make our pool deeper.  As I was getting ready to leave, Harlyn looks at me and says, “Miss Tiersa, I am hungry.”  This lead to a conversation about how they don`t always get to eat everyday.  I ended up inviting those I was hanging out with back to my house for dinner.  Not all of them were allowed to come but those did ate until they were full and had some left over to bring back home to the others.  Eggs and tortillas; nothing too special, but we did have fun.  I thank the Lord for blessing me with enough to be able to pass His blessings along.
